Card for Emily

Hi everyone.

A very sweet and generous soul, Dustin Pike, has started a campaign of sorts to lift the spirits of a Emily, who is a brave 7 year old girl fighting leukemia.  Check out his website for the full details.

Dustin has been kind enough to draw and color a digi stamp set especially for Emily with the hope that people will use them to make and send Emily a card.  They are really adorable images and I was thrilled to join in the effort to send Emily happy thoughts.

Here is the card...

I printed the image twice and added a little depth with decoupauge.  I realize in the picture the flower is offset.  I fixed this on the card itself, but didn't want to delay posting it by taking more pics.  The glue was still a little wet all around when I took the pic actually..lol.

Do check out Dustin's blogs.  He has some really great digi's and a heart of gold to boot!

Thanks for looking and it would be lovely if you would consider sending Emily a card as well.  Again, you can find the details on Dustin's blog here.

Last but not least, don't forget that there is still time to enter the challenges at Crafty Boots, where the theme is Easter, and at Just Inspirational Challenges (where there are actually two current challenges with picture inspirations)
