While this might seem like a reason to craft more, it actually removed my downline. Basically, work was the place I brought all the cards I made to sell for charity. I have never been a ‘tons of friends’ kind of gal, so I have maybe 10 people I personally give cards to. I couldn’t see a reason to keep making cards to just save forever in my house, so.... and I say this with my head hanging low..... I just bought cards for my friends and family instead.</p><p>Fast forward to ” Covid World”, and like many people, I found myself running out of things to binge watch, rewatch, etc. etc. I mean, there is a limit to the number of times I can see the same episodes of even my favorite shows without it getting stale. Anyway, once I had exhausted all my options on cable and streaming services, I found myself watching youtube videos to pass the time. I eventually came across a card making video showing how to use layering stamps on dark cardstock. It was the video linked below, by Jennifer McGuire Ink that rekindled my own love of cardmaking.</p><p><a href="https://youtube.com/embed/76i92WpvB8Q?autoplay=1" target="_blank">Jennifer McGuire Ink - Stamp Layering on Dark Cardstock</a><br /></p><p>Several Jennifer McGuire videos later I was compelled to pull out my supplies and get inky. Now my dining room is almost officially my craft room (since we won’t be entertaining anytime soon anyway). I even organized my existing stash and got an (admittedly) excessive number of new goodies to try out.</p><p>Here is the first card I attempted, using stamps from the <a href="https://altenew.com/products/playful-blooms-stamp-die-bundle" target="_blank">Altenew - Playful Blooms</a> set. I wasn’t so brave and didn’t use proper dark cardstock, but it wasn’t white! That was brave for me.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqgguB3Zwzsd9-kBQkaVNXbRNkF1AGhAERCBr8_Ts0I1qBlTIKWzNU4HXbfSFKjYLpwKExsM9_MGus_w-0aYk2tak1rVKN96nJVunHEMNDVqJN6hJlqHupqi1v12KCl8unkQYoBlsUG6c/s2048/1D470D8C-4FE2-4F91-BF91-08850FE0DA03.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1968" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqgguB3Zwzsd9-kBQkaVNXbRNkF1AGhAERCBr8_Ts0I1qBlTIKWzNU4HXbfSFKjYLpwKExsM9_MGus_w-0aYk2tak1rVKN96nJVunHEMNDVqJN6hJlqHupqi1v12KCl8unkQYoBlsUG6c/s320/1D470D8C-4FE2-4F91-BF91-08850FE0DA03.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p>Then, with Father’s Day approaching, I made this one. Again, I got the idea of the 2nd and 3rd generation stamping of the leaves from another of the Jennifer McGuire Ink youtube videos. I wish I had had the forethought to keep track of all the videos I watched, and which ones taught me what technique, but I didn’t, so I apologize for that.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgol-qmKyVPK1-t2afI7ADfXqqp12TKTSUYpKSPPA5gu1M405w-BiYbBPfQXA__9vflyOWQ7PYxzl2FHLQTib6T5iqAkZPiUPuv0qcWs0R1Wr7rBpnb6Pg7XBOq_tbcntTWA235BJtNwkE/s2048/45ECFF3B-BF7C-490D-8EF8-54BC0A0249B4.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1925" data-original-width="2048" height="188" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgol-qmKyVPK1-t2afI7ADfXqqp12TKTSUYpKSPPA5gu1M405w-BiYbBPfQXA__9vflyOWQ7PYxzl2FHLQTib6T5iqAkZPiUPuv0qcWs0R1Wr7rBpnb6Pg7XBOq_tbcntTWA235BJtNwkE/w200-h188/45ECFF3B-BF7C-490D-8EF8-54BC0A0249B4.jpeg" width="200" /></a></div><p>Next, I made one for my niece.... It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there.</p><p>Anyway, I will post again soon with some Christmas cards I have been working on - for sending out and for charity. By then I should know if anyone is still out there and interested 😁</p><p>Happy crafting. (aka Challenge 124)</div>
<br />
<br />
Hi there all you lovely people! It is Sunday, which means that beginning of another challenge at <a href="http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">One Stitch at a Time Challenges</a>. Our theme is 'Use a Digi' - so other than that, the doors are wide open for your own creativitiy to run free!<br />
<br />
This week's sponsor is<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjss2LCT_eFr3vk1EOxR7z0CiXTd4si_YnSHKEYa7DE195YpvK9ZRH9gogsScyz93U9ni29Q4JB44bIcn-Ik7hYaXj9NlDgFlgdD3rGJwSuAqneTMrw8VDGrEayabFe0T9SPWRACUYmYHY/s1600/Store-Logo-3.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
and that image I got to work with is<a href="http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11_32&products_id=2135" target="_blank"> Funky Floral VI by Floppy Latte Designs</a>. I thought I would have a play with the image in Craft Artist Professional to see what I could come up with....and this is it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6dTsbpCJKJpKN81hIgLJvDONL0o5DussbyY0aiKstPYIOsDP4ZDjP-bRnZh1HOmALHFXThKHvTGRhaN9VtEBqoQUOM_ZJVzEkiP_xVnfMRPf4Afvt2N2AdeEH6dep9KXct21BmoE-FEg/s1600/OSAAT+Funky+Floral+-+Floppy+Latte+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6dTsbpCJKJpKN81hIgLJvDONL0o5DussbyY0aiKstPYIOsDP4ZDjP-bRnZh1HOmALHFXThKHvTGRhaN9VtEBqoQUOM_ZJVzEkiP_xVnfMRPf4Afvt2N2AdeEH6dep9KXct21BmoE-FEg/s640/OSAAT+Funky+Floral+-+Floppy+Latte+Watermarked.jpg" width="457" /></a></div>
<br />
I used the image once as line art and converted it from black to white, enlarged it, and added it to the background. Then I printed the image as black line art (as it would be out of the tin so to speak). The image made me think of peacock feathers a bit, so I went with the purple and teal color scheme with pink accents - using Flex Markers for the coloring of course. The only non digital element is the flower next to the sentiment and the coloring of the smaller image. I think the overall effect turned out very nice - I hope you agree.<br />
<br />
I am going to keep this short and sweet, as I forgot to schedule my blog post ahead of time and am now running late!<br />
<br />
Do be sure to visit the main blog, and if the mood strikes you, show the other design team members some love! Their creations are beautiful! Also, link up your own digi image projects for a chance to win a set of digi stamps(if you use a <a href="http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/" target="_blank">Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps</a> image in your project) or to win $3 to spend in the Stitchy Bear shop if you use a non SBDS image.<br />
<br />
I would like to enter this creation in the following challenges:<br />

<br />
<br />
Right, the longer I ramble, the later this post gets, so I will shush and post this now.<br />
<br />
Take care and I hope to see you back soon!<br />

We are being sponsored by the wonderful<a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/MayzyArt" target="_blank"> MayzyArt Digital Stamp Designs</a>, and with the Olympics starting imminently, the theme is Olympic Sports. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/179943_10150963222254267_1498861556_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/179943_10150963222254267_1498861556_n.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is a photo to inspire you. Remember, you can make a project taking any inspiration from this picture - whether it be colors, style, or subject matter etc. Let your imagination run wild - or by all means show us your best Olympic Sports related projects. I am sure there are quite a few of them floating around at there in the crafty blogging world!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://findicons.com/files//icons/2545/preview/summer_olympics_full.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://findicons.com/files//icons/2545/preview/summer_olympics_full.png" width="248" /></a></div>
<br />
And, for a little more inspiration, here is my project using the adorable 'Tennis' digi from MayzyArt.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl6ukC5C90OOVaTYOimcGtreQkqbw15MrHw6OiUrsxbDNhDqvYBtxXJzMYt2V1avJN4cod0QYSDqcJ4v_zreEciWWW9LMk1e4F9dg6NVG3ltiKYtvgb2gW2VU-ffMPsql5qqgET8eC1iI/s1600/JIC+MayzyArt+-+Olympic+Colors+-+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl6ukC5C90OOVaTYOimcGtreQkqbw15MrHw6OiUrsxbDNhDqvYBtxXJzMYt2V1avJN4cod0QYSDqcJ4v_zreEciWWW9LMk1e4F9dg6NVG3ltiKYtvgb2gW2VU-ffMPsql5qqgET8eC1iI/s640/JIC+MayzyArt+-+Olympic+Colors+-+Watermarked.jpg" width="618" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The image is colored with Flex Markers. All the paper and card came out of my cut off's box, so in addition to being my design team card for JIC, it is also the next in my own ' Use it Up' series...lol. It is difficult to see it the pic, but the layer just behind the image is pealescent blue, as is the blue layer underneath the textured red paper.<br />
<br />
As I was taking the pic this morning (which I was in a panic to do as I forgot it was Wednesday yesterday and by extension that the new JIC challenge would be starting today) I thought the card needed just a little something more. I decided on liquid pearls in baby blue. Perhaps I should have left well enough alone as the top ones are not as straight and even as I would have liked. That is what I get for crafting in a panic at 6 am..lol.<br />
<br />
Anyway, it is what it is...and I hope even with its flaws it is something you can draw some inspiration from. It is time for another fun challenge over at <a href="http://www.craftybootschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Crafty Boots Challenges</a>. This time, the theme is 'Babies'. <br />
<br />
I have been doing a lot more of my card elements digitally lately.... ever since I started using Craft Artist Professional to draw my own digi stamps. It was a world I had never really explored or embraced other than the odd card or background etc. Anyway, as I am becoming more familiar with the software, I am able to achieve the effects I want for my cards. At the end of the day, I will never give up my 'dimensional' crafting. I am way to addicted to papers and embellishments! I do see myself incorporating more digital elements however, if for no other reason than everything can be customized just the way I want it.<br />
<br />
Enough blathering .... here is my card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr4TW7VVUXtWu5sLvus9STFEYCUQeoLNokJ-vgmh5oBSVXaMF6MR4dstxPMYu4o48b_71NndhQrAx9zJ0uT5k2z1DWT6rdd_vJKGwQ4wV5f4GCGk6yVXjiNNr7rWVYRrjMRcHNvbQroTw/s1600/Welcome+Little+One+Front+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="634" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr4TW7VVUXtWu5sLvus9STFEYCUQeoLNokJ-vgmh5oBSVXaMF6MR4dstxPMYu4o48b_71NndhQrAx9zJ0uT5k2z1DWT6rdd_vJKGwQ4wV5f4GCGk6yVXjiNNr7rWVYRrjMRcHNvbQroTw/s640/Welcome+Little+One+Front+Watermarked.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
and here is the inside... <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzuQvf1uYfMEo2GK8FnM7nuV9UZb9VEJPsGbi5ChorpUTVHh3QVmFChSRFVnPsf1LgcJIsb75L7E9l2b-rarp5-24Wt1yCKQ4Ej2I6zHzh7AA0GpGckWyoEvSZtTsowoOLPTlKgxQd3AA/s1600/Welcome+Little+One+Insert+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="353" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzuQvf1uYfMEo2GK8FnM7nuV9UZb9VEJPsGbi5ChorpUTVHh3QVmFChSRFVnPsf1LgcJIsb75L7E9l2b-rarp5-24Wt1yCKQ4Ej2I6zHzh7AA0GpGckWyoEvSZtTsowoOLPTlKgxQd3AA/s640/Welcome+Little+One+Insert+Watermarked.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I used CAP to design and layer the card front and inside. The cute little carriage is a free digi stamp from <a href="http://brokenboxstock.blogspot.co.uk/2011/04/free-baby-carriage.html" target="_blank">Broken Box Stock</a>. I used the CAP software to size them so I could have a bigger one on the card front and a little bitty one on the inside. Both carriages are colored with Flex Markers. I added the little yellow flower on the front and really that is all I had to do. I have gotten much braver with putting digi stamps directly into designed card fronts etc. On this card I could have easily printed the carriage on the front separately and attached it as a topper, but I thought - why use an extra sheet of my<a href="http://www.craftyboots.com/ourshop/cat_587693-Crafty-Boots-Deluxe-Crafters-Card.html" target="_blank"> Crafty Boots Deluxe Crafter's Card</a>. I love this card for coloring, and it is also lovely for printing with my inkjet printer. The colors really are true, and that is really important to me.<br />
<br />
Okee dokee.... that is really all I have for today other than to ask you to consider popping over to the <a href="http://www.craftybootschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">main blog</a> to see the beautiful work from the rest of the design team and to link up you baby themed projects for a chance to win a prize. Might as well go for it, right?<br />
<br />
I am also entering this card into the following challenges:<br />
<br />

<br />CraftyDaffyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15698956356224944608noreply@blogger.com18tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7704747269576045903.post-30989868197939332252012-07-15T20:00:00.000+01:002012-07-15T20:00:01.831+01:00Space Judes Blog Hop - Simply Betty StampsMy name is Denise, and I have a Simply Betty Stamps addiction! If you have not checked out the wonderful stamps, take a cyber trip over to her web shop <a href="http://simplybstamps.net/" target="_blank">here</a>. There are some really lovely digi stamps, but also a full line of rubber and clear stamps. You can now even commission a custom 'headshot' digi. Believe it or not, I am in no way affiliated with Simply B Stamps, so all this gushing is actually coming from a place of love.<br />
<br />
Anyway, to celebrate the release of a new line of digi stamps, which are for sale for a limited release, Betty's facebook group is having another Blog Hop. The hopping starts at the <a href="http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Simply Betty Stamps Blog</a>, so if you just happened here as one of my followers, or a new visitor, you might want to pop over to the <a href="http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">main blog</a> to hop along from beginning to end.<br />
<br />
If you are following the hop, you should have come here from <a href="http://ormcraftynights.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Olivia's blog</a>.<br />
<br />
Anyway, here is my creation.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR6hFQTzhfvA0lDrSClBaFk-Gn50W6DknET-y13qUQbupom29qQQqZ6FERu1MMdZk4bWojrG36MyDdVNLdreO7qq_zc3Crwbxe-pPmI4i5MztBTIBAo3_Y5XmIGrsp-bv7i8ON-5vm288/s1600/Space+Gals+SBS+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="630" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR6hFQTzhfvA0lDrSClBaFk-Gn50W6DknET-y13qUQbupom29qQQqZ6FERu1MMdZk4bWojrG36MyDdVNLdreO7qq_zc3Crwbxe-pPmI4i5MztBTIBAo3_Y5XmIGrsp-bv7i8ON-5vm288/s640/Space+Gals+SBS+Watermarked.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I used two of the new Judes digital stamps, Outta this World Ali and Battle Galactica Lilly from the Space Judes set which you can see <a href="http://simplybstamps.net/category_265/Jude-the-Rockers-Space-Digis.htm" target="_blank">here</a>. I merged them in Craft Artist Professional software. They are colored with Flex Markers. I cut out some glitter and holographic card and paper using Nestabilites and Grand Nestabilities dies, put the lovely space ladies on top and viola!<br />
<br />
I was really pleased with the final result, and I can't wait to work with the other Space Judes!<br />
<br />
Right, this is a blog hop, so your next stop is <a href="http://craftyshell.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Michelle's blog</a>. As the hop is not live yet, I have not seen the other people's creations, but I can't wait. These digis are a joy to work with and I love getting ideas for different ways to use them!<br />
<br />
It has been a busy blog week for me, so if you haven't caught up with me for a while, check out the current challenges of the blogs I design for including <a href="http://www.craftybootschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/bingo.html" target="_blank">Crafty Boots Challenges</a>, <a href="http://www.justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/week-37-stamp-n-doodle-and-scrappers.html" target="_blank">Just Inspirational Challenges</a>, and the newest addition,<a href="http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank"> One Stitch at a Time</a>. All three have fun challenges going and some great prizes...so definitely worth throwing your hat in. <br />
<br />
Take care and thanks for stopping by. <br />

This is my first post as a participating design team member for the team at <a href="http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">One Stitch at a Time</a>.<br />
<br />
The theme for the challenge is Anything Goes and it is being sponsored by <a href="http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/" target="_blank">Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps</a> - and the image I got to work with is <a href="http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_104&products_id=2402" target="_blank">'Window' by Priyanka.</a><br />
<br />
<br />
Here is my design team card....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp3xiTwvj7qZB75tPwwl19uwkduBjcyLavXEHr4Jp9SQrtKx54LJ4AuApCdRxGFOXNZ3-Sfbole0tiBP72ZpDgRfmtM41kF5QMDSFP0iWNHNP3FEszYd6lrEnE4uEzQYR-pFvyrRZj9nk/s1600/Priyanka+Window+OSAAT+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp3xiTwvj7qZB75tPwwl19uwkduBjcyLavXEHr4Jp9SQrtKx54LJ4AuApCdRxGFOXNZ3-Sfbole0tiBP72ZpDgRfmtM41kF5QMDSFP0iWNHNP3FEszYd6lrEnE4uEzQYR-pFvyrRZj9nk/s640/Priyanka+Window+OSAAT+Watermarked.jpg" width="462" /></a></div>
<br />
The image is colored with Flex Markers. I cut out the image, including the fencing, the lattice work and the birds. The image is mounted on a card from a Hunkydory kit. I repositioned the birds in the image around the birdhouse on the backing paper. It is difficult to see in the picture, but the fence is mounted on foam so it is sticking out a bit. I added some Dazzlers flowers for a bit of bling and dimension, and a bit of vintage ribbon on the edge to balance the whole thing out (and also because the flower pattern on the paper does not continue on that edge as the original was A4).<br />
<br />
Please do pop over to the <a href="http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">main blog</a> to see the work from the rest of the design team. Don't forget that it is an Anything Goes Challenge, so it should be easy to come up with a project to link up! I can't wait to see all your lovely creations.<br />
<br />

Today is my Mom's birthday, and although she is not a follower of my blog (can you believe it???), she does check it from time to time, so I thought I would post the e-card I sent today for her birthday. It is difficult to be in a different country, but thankfully, in this digital age, there are lots of ways to stay close in heart if not in body!<br />
<br />
I made my Mom a physical card, but I wasn't able to post it in time to have it there for her actual birthday. So I decided to send her an e-card which can of course be printed out if she would like.<br />
<br />
Now the actual e-card has an insert too, but I want that to be just for her.<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
If you all can send my Mom happy, lovely thoughts for her birthday and wishes for a happy and healthy year, that would be wonderful!!!<br />
<br />
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! I LOVE YOU<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Here are my contributions for your considerations :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv16d5dlpoNlnCmvlR2YIB8ukLMwZLmAn6iRKOfTPqdY1xXGAv9UAwjvHBp_06VWfe6bwE9UkenIHvlPyaMfmxYd7s1hOvmdW5JoiZGxdYSh4-n06bE8mJ2XE7Kkcb2vCdzIBCVkkek8g/s1600/Watermarked+Scrappers+Delight+JIC+DT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv16d5dlpoNlnCmvlR2YIB8ukLMwZLmAn6iRKOfTPqdY1xXGAv9UAwjvHBp_06VWfe6bwE9UkenIHvlPyaMfmxYd7s1hOvmdW5JoiZGxdYSh4-n06bE8mJ2XE7Kkcb2vCdzIBCVkkek8g/s640/Watermarked+Scrappers+Delight+JIC+DT.jpg" width="452" /></a></div>
This card was made using a variety of digikit elements, most of which were from a kit by <a href="http://www.scrappersdelights.com/" target="_blank">Scrapper's Delights</a>. The digi stamp is also from Scrappers Delights. I made the layout using CAP, and inserted the digistamp in line art form for coloring with Flex Markers after printing. The only non-digital aspect besides the coloring is the striped backing card, which is from a Hunkydory set offered as the free members gift at C&C. It went perfectly with the challenge colors and my layout. It is nice when things work out that way.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgmClb0Kh2QXMB2Z9MT_Zar6jG6lN6sKB1738s3vLdTMmvOTgUg5GXse2aX2pyRSx_teeXsvT5WErzgSRimnRGe0FLxXU5BBfqSnkpO_leLN_eTpDAPSHHWLOJ4nDKiLDs7ChJSL6Ki_w/s1600/Stamp+N+Doodle+Prom+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgmClb0Kh2QXMB2Z9MT_Zar6jG6lN6sKB1738s3vLdTMmvOTgUg5GXse2aX2pyRSx_teeXsvT5WErzgSRimnRGe0FLxXU5BBfqSnkpO_leLN_eTpDAPSHHWLOJ4nDKiLDs7ChJSL6Ki_w/s640/Stamp+N+Doodle+Prom+Watermarked.jpg" width="512" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This card layout was also done in CAP. The only non digital element is the coloring of the <a href="http://www.stamp-n-doodle.com/" target="_blank">Stamp n doodle image</a>, which was again done with Flex Markers.<br />
<br />
I have to say I am becoming quite addicted to using Craft Artist Professional for my card making. I tend to think of things that might look good 'after the fact', so doing the layout digitally allows me to put a ribbon underneath a layer that on a normal card I might have already glued down..lol. Saying that, I did consider a ribbon under the image layer on my first card, but I had already glued the striped card down..... so I still have work to do with my planning!<br />
<br />
Please stop by the <a href="http://www.justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">main challenge blog</a> to see what the rest of the design team have created and to link up your own wonderful projects! We also have a facebook group if you want to join in there.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you can visit again soon.<br />

I wanted to write a quick post to share some good news with you all. I have been asked to be a member of the design team for <a href="http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">One Stitch At A Time Challenges (OSAAT)</a>. I was so excited to be asked, and of course I accepted. I will be participating in the challenges there starting next week, but I couldn't wait to share my news.<br />
<br />
As I can't imagine posting without including a project, I decided to make a card front.....so here it is.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd1FaCqzKnuMD5jejqTBzh4JpbBm6f578-C9cIZIPYQfzhTJ5KI657XxJTUrTYublGWYYTyUUDaCAYzuszspFGLKky2T40jSk1M7Kw2rQrB7G9naGRUTnY17WMSWfBCl8AxaXt9eV6xA4/s1600/Moon+Fairy+Stitchy+Bear.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd1FaCqzKnuMD5jejqTBzh4JpbBm6f578-C9cIZIPYQfzhTJ5KI657XxJTUrTYublGWYYTyUUDaCAYzuszspFGLKky2T40jSk1M7Kw2rQrB7G9naGRUTnY17WMSWfBCl8AxaXt9eV6xA4/s640/Moon+Fairy+Stitchy+Bear.jpg" width="452" /></a></div>
<br />
I used Craft Artist Professional and various digikit elements to accompany this lovely digistamp / silhouette from <a href="http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16&products_id=853" target="_blank">Stitchy Bear - Action Fx / Floppy Latte Designs</a>. <br />
<br />
At the moment, this is only in digital form, but I plan to use it for a card front at some point. I only hope my printer can do the vivid colors justice! <br />
<br />
Thanks for looking and I hope you can visit again soon.<br />
<br />
Take care<br />

I have been going crazy over in the Simply B Stamps fan group on facebook because Betty has been releasing some fantastic digis, including this one that she gave away to group members. I thought I would use the freebie for the current challenge at <a href="http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/simply-challenged-challenge-july-7th.html" target="_blank">Simply Challenged Challenges</a>. Here is my card.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCiltFrA6jjOrpZD8fiXH6JOMvhnP2wiVyfrpNzyBgrFknztf4ImJhkyWc1C30_LaA3zBcdKUCK2xt_V5GueQfQnljDHPIkQZnccpYMY7ubO0nftvWfQcgBm3xETLLZn8XtgMt_t0evHg/s1600/SBS+Devil+light+and+dard.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCiltFrA6jjOrpZD8fiXH6JOMvhnP2wiVyfrpNzyBgrFknztf4ImJhkyWc1C30_LaA3zBcdKUCK2xt_V5GueQfQnljDHPIkQZnccpYMY7ubO0nftvWfQcgBm3xETLLZn8XtgMt_t0evHg/s640/SBS+Devil+light+and+dard.jpg" width="460" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlNFimiJa9zI8Da43ifMnBuRpBq9k3omliMJnZ2Uuen-9uYqbZU_QClZs1FxTnaB8K-H4MdygL2tZmOqOMmRLSAtPBCwacUMJSfJnzvTvbUekdR3QZYY58YmgH5n-uTsYXQwZUCbhGURs/s1600/SBS+Devil+dark+and+light.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlNFimiJa9zI8Da43ifMnBuRpBq9k3omliMJnZ2Uuen-9uYqbZU_QClZs1FxTnaB8K-H4MdygL2tZmOqOMmRLSAtPBCwacUMJSfJnzvTvbUekdR3QZYY58YmgH5n-uTsYXQwZUCbhGURs/s640/SBS+Devil+dark+and+light.jpg" width="451" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The challenge is light and dark as you hopefully might have guessed. I used Craft Artist Professional to make the layouts / backgrounds and inserted the Simply Betty Stamps image. After printing, I colored the images with Flex Markers. This is actually one card, with each topper on the opposite side of the card. I am trying to think of something clever I can use for the insert, but I have not thought of anything yet.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyway, I am entering this card into the<a href="http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/simply-challenged-challenge-july-7th.html" target="_blank"> Simply Challenged Challenge</a> from 7 July. I hope you like it.<br />
<br />
If you don't already belong to it, you should consider joining the group on facebook for lots of great images, some chatting, and lots of inspiration from some talented folks.<br />
<br />
Take care and I hope you can come back soon.<br />

I am happy to announce the start of another challenge at <a href="http://www.craftybootschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Crafty Boots Challenges</a>. I got to decide the theme for this challenge, and I thought a bit of Bingo would be fun. The idea is that you have to use the elements in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row (ie Green, Stars & Ribbons or Stars, Stripes & Dots, or Green, Stripes & Lace etc.) You can also use the elements in the 4 corners (Green, Ribbons, Yellow & Lace), or if you are feeling particularly brave, try a 'full card' by using all the elements.<br />
<br />
<br />
As this week is my Mom's Birthday, my first card is the birthday card I made for her.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio8yZdZEyWmfKLStZkAoPJDDp6jVZ1WgfzZRxvdK1qXO3Zoj4COTL9E7GF_8Vva3SB7MLY9gRpdOAONTr6HkX1HU8I9z7U0aOqVN5iaTfrQI6Za6pwR1-SbyE1ygs20Z47SZFiO2NgDBE/s1600/Happy+Birthday+mom+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio8yZdZEyWmfKLStZkAoPJDDp6jVZ1WgfzZRxvdK1qXO3Zoj4COTL9E7GF_8Vva3SB7MLY9gRpdOAONTr6HkX1HU8I9z7U0aOqVN5iaTfrQI6Za6pwR1-SbyE1ygs20Z47SZFiO2NgDBE/s640/Happy+Birthday+mom+Watermarked.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I designed this card in Serif's Craft Artist Professional using various digi kits. The printed / designed layer is on top of a purple glittered acetate, and the whole card is finished off with a bow made from blue organza ribbon. The BINGO elements I used for this card are Yellow, Stripes and Ribbons.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My next card uses the BINGO elements Green, Stars and Ribbons. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXYoQMjdbGQqSp4bZJuPbG3pP-dKP1eLy0eT-XWyiVDGhAclmcvfjAl3mMh76_TAuIcpb1Zpbi0NQTbzdNmKZy8hn5feERlS8qEQDCyxrIeX6XoEYVxuEL0YCyqQ-1WqkpxCBnMHFgKQo/s1600/Chester+Green+Star+Christmas+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="395" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXYoQMjdbGQqSp4bZJuPbG3pP-dKP1eLy0eT-XWyiVDGhAclmcvfjAl3mMh76_TAuIcpb1Zpbi0NQTbzdNmKZy8hn5feERlS8qEQDCyxrIeX6XoEYVxuEL0YCyqQ-1WqkpxCBnMHFgKQo/s400/Chester+Green+Star+Christmas+Watermarked.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Again, the card was designed in Craft Artist Professional. I used various digikit elements, and inserted the Chester Monkey digistamp (by <a href="http://pollycraft.co.uk/" target="_blank">Pollycraft</a>). After printing, I colored Chester with Flex Markers. I used stickers to embellish the large star ornament, and added two tones of green organza ribbon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope you like my cards (and I especially hope my Mom likes hers!) Please check out the main blog <a href="http://www.craftybootschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">here</a> to see what the rest of the design team have come up with. Also, please link up your own creations and let us know which elements you have used!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As always, comments are most appreciated. I am so glad you took the time to visit and hope you can come back soon!</div>

I am very happy to be taking part in a special blog hop. A bunch of fans of Simply Betty Stamps were lucky enough to get a hold of a pre-release set of the Betty's 3 digi stamps. They are Movie themed and you can get them <a href="http://simplybstamps.net/category_259/The-Bettys-3-LIMITED-PRE-RELEASE-DIGIS.htm" target="_blank">here</a> for a limited time. They will only be digis until they go into production as clear stamps I believe.<br />
<br />
You should have come here from <a href="http://lesliekcreations.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Leslie's Blog</a>. If you just happened here by chance and want to complete the full blog hop, it starts at the <a href="http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Simply Betty Stamps Blog</a>. There are some very talented folks and some adorable Bettys 3 along the way, so it is well worth the time to hop through.<br />
<br />
Anyway, the pre-release set had six in the series, but as there are only so many hours in a day, and so much cooperation from my back, I only managed to color and card up these two adorable Bettys...<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs0A0B5grt2AR3M57Y9ltnl_4t5xVCrmylGYYycI64Y8noE5rVYnM4Ayze9Z7c23UpKRp6B9Nv2_y5SIpbxo3TU76fwTgs26cdcJbWPFXkXgXsTUp1ecMStJuzCg8WoN_0tDmKdkZ1yEw/s1600/LOTR+Betty+Elf+Front+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs0A0B5grt2AR3M57Y9ltnl_4t5xVCrmylGYYycI64Y8noE5rVYnM4Ayze9Z7c23UpKRp6B9Nv2_y5SIpbxo3TU76fwTgs26cdcJbWPFXkXgXsTUp1ecMStJuzCg8WoN_0tDmKdkZ1yEw/s640/LOTR+Betty+Elf+Front+Watermarked.jpg" width="612" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN4DKRCIxwopd8Nw3zmuz3-VMDPFlikf2QeuM_DVKxPAAwCnpMgqFKWRd19Aecqdu0UxjJXDjss2HcFMdVnPkaKWHwBuQLyQrBnoj6v3hTZd7_RKkqtAyflOyBwjDg4GQw-fvtlYsDhsE/s1600/For+my+Precious+Card+Inside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN4DKRCIxwopd8Nw3zmuz3-VMDPFlikf2QeuM_DVKxPAAwCnpMgqFKWRd19Aecqdu0UxjJXDjss2HcFMdVnPkaKWHwBuQLyQrBnoj6v3hTZd7_RKkqtAyflOyBwjDg4GQw-fvtlYsDhsE/s400/For+my+Precious+Card+Inside.jpg" width="373" /></a></div>
<br /> <br />
As you might have guessed, the first Betty is Lord of the Rings themed. I colored the image with Flex Markers and used Papermania metallic markers for the headpiece and the belt buckle. For the insert, I took the sentiment, which is also a Simply B Stamps design, and gave it a textured metal appearance in Craft Artist Professional. It doesn't come out very well in the pic unfortunately. The swirl paper is from Hunkydory, and the other papers are just random bits from my stash. The circles are all cut out using Grand Nestabilities dies and the border is punched with a edge puncher.<br />
<br />
<br />
Next, please say hello to Sherlock Holmes Betty.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF3d_WssLESGXMo4kg2BxYfg1f25FPH4JnS0mxE0rclmA1MGDFzLUbGFP-HHJU4kA_lD3EH7KE0FE9gJJT2WsMSRmoQ9LNghXreKC02b5YgjChpznSXEA232plh7nzfUxdVTL3f0lNBz0/s1600/Sherlock+Betty+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="458" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF3d_WssLESGXMo4kg2BxYfg1f25FPH4JnS0mxE0rclmA1MGDFzLUbGFP-HHJU4kA_lD3EH7KE0FE9gJJT2WsMSRmoQ9LNghXreKC02b5YgjChpznSXEA232plh7nzfUxdVTL3f0lNBz0/s640/Sherlock+Betty+Watermarked.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Again, Betty Holmes is colored with Flex Markers. I used bits of card and ribbon from my stash. The black card just under the image has flecks of gold in it which you can just make out in the photo. I added the gold corner flourish stickers to pick the shiny gold up a bit.<br />
<br />
I've not finished the inside of this one yet, but as I have company, and the hop is starting in two hours I will have to leave it there. I can assure you it is going to be lovely. Actually, I really can, because the sentiment is another by Simply B Stamps!<br />
<br />
Well, as this is a blog hop, you should get hopping....(but I would of course love for you to leave a comment before you go). The next stop on your hopping tour is <a href="http://ceesascardcreations.blogspot.ie/" target="_blank">Teresa</a> so stop by to see her Bettys 3 creation(s) and let her know what you think.<br />
<br />
Take care and thank you so much for visiting. Please come back soon if you can :)<br />

Before I had my back surgery I made a goal for myself to use up the bits in my scraps box. After making 4 cards already, I don't think this is going to happen anytime soon, but I can at least say that more is coming out of it than going in!<br />
<br />
Here is the card...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlh3pgMV1C4W6wfR2XrXLO7THSj_p5B80YVaixWagjUDxXiRUBEp3uwv_XLiYoIp6C26reeY9OAbxwK2a6CENBb0WZK5sS4Sle_Z2-3l4vdZlaJW_xK8MFzvroLmnHceqCbZU4qynZspE/s1600/Sugar+and+Spice+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlh3pgMV1C4W6wfR2XrXLO7THSj_p5B80YVaixWagjUDxXiRUBEp3uwv_XLiYoIp6C26reeY9OAbxwK2a6CENBb0WZK5sS4Sle_Z2-3l4vdZlaJW_xK8MFzvroLmnHceqCbZU4qynZspE/s640/Sugar+and+Spice+Watermarked.jpg" width="472" /></a></div>
<br />
You might recognize this little chef from the Simply B Stamps range. She is colored in flex markers as is my usual. The photo doesn't show it well, but the backing paper or background layer is a light green marble. This didn't come out of my scraps box, but it did come from a pack of Glitter Girls paper that I have had over a year. I used some smaller scraps to make the woven panel and some larger scraps for the yellow matted polka dot layer panels.<br />
<br />
Lastly, the sentiment came from the Crafter's Companion 'Little Treasures' embellishment set, which I have also had for over a year.<br />
<br />
I am quite pleased with the way it turned out. I find it a fun challenge to look at the scraps and try to come up with ways to use them. It gives me the excuse to try combinations and layouts that I might not otherwise.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I shall leave it here for now. I hope you like the card. by the way, don't forget to check out the current challenges at <a href="http://www.justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Just Inspirational Challenges</a> and<a href="http://www.craftybootchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank"> Crafty Boots Challenges</a>. It is so lovely to see what you all come up with.<br />
<br />
Take care and I hope you can come back to visit soon.<br />

Actually, I thought I had done one, and distinctly remembered doing links to the sponsor etc., but maybe I dreamt that. Anyway, better late than never.....<br />
<br />This week the challenge at <a href="http://www.justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Just Inspirational Challenges</a> is being sponsored by <a href="http://www.squigglefly.com/index.php/shop/" target="_blank">Squigglefly</a>.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.squigglefly.com/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img alt="Squigglefly.com Digital Stamps" border="0" src="http://www.squigglefly.com/_images/squigglefly.png" /></a></div>
Check them out for a wide range of digital stamps by a variety of wonderful artists. I was happy to find one of my favorite artists, Cheryl Alger, among them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuZ7OJ_eY2yKyNazuuxdzah560R615ozTVsyZiaHN9qZ1MT1hFshx_U0ucr1H0OsA7QnYB4tzsdJLkl3x_eJnhXbee7ZhwRlU3SeCbLpZRIDRP19ywih2ZptdHFhB6jiMh15Ugk23RXTY/s1600/Squigglefly+Butterfly+girl+-+Sassy+Cheryl+JIC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuZ7OJ_eY2yKyNazuuxdzah560R615ozTVsyZiaHN9qZ1MT1hFshx_U0ucr1H0OsA7QnYB4tzsdJLkl3x_eJnhXbee7ZhwRlU3SeCbLpZRIDRP19ywih2ZptdHFhB6jiMh15Ugk23RXTY/s640/Squigglefly+Butterfly+girl+-+Sassy+Cheryl+JIC.jpg" width="484" /></a></div>
<br />
I used the adorable Crosseyed Butterfly image and colored it with Flex Markers. The card layout was done in Craft Artist Professional. I added some punched butterflies and thought that was all it needed. <br />

The inspirational photo for this challenge is....<br />
<br />
You can probably see that I chose to use the colors, but you can take whatever elements you like to draw inspiration for your project! There is plenty more inspiration from the rest of the design team over on the <a href="http://www.justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/week-35-squigglefly.html" target="_blank">main blog</a> as well. Do pop over to check them out, and of course to link up your own projects. <br />
<br />
Right, well that's my 20 minutes done, so must take a break from the computer.<br />
<br />
Take care and thank you so much for looking. <br />

It is so much fun to work with and it is quick and easy to design what I hope are lovely cards.<br />
<br />
This card mainly uses elements from the Melon School Digikit. I love the color scheme - green and pink look so nice together!<br />
<br />
Anyway, here is my card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjky9yjYpdMl8LLkwRrHLaYyRIiwvaVlXvAYzXB4k7BMiZpR3l1CaR6CzvLtqX8iv-LFRmUYapi1NJwuuLPp6ZVh8XZ1MpD8Wrsp7n9RPWULRK1g0zm0Uy0AtkVLBjpwMRePfTZcfR3QSA/s1600/Just+Because+Watermarked+JPG.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="452" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjky9yjYpdMl8LLkwRrHLaYyRIiwvaVlXvAYzXB4k7BMiZpR3l1CaR6CzvLtqX8iv-LFRmUYapi1NJwuuLPp6ZVh8XZ1MpD8Wrsp7n9RPWULRK1g0zm0Uy0AtkVLBjpwMRePfTZcfR3QSA/s640/Just+Because+Watermarked+JPG.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I inserted this adorable Simply B Stamps digi image into the project, and added her 'painting' using the CAP software as well. The rest of the digi image is colored with flex markers. <br />
<br />
Well, I must keep this short, so I will say goodbye for now.<br />
<br />
Thank you so much for looking and I do hope you like my project. Please visit again soon!<br />
<br />
Take care,<br />

I just got it in the post today and am in LOVE!!!<br />
<br />
Here is the card front.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

and here is the inside of the card...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEdwvE8CMI0qX45-GhPfpaElV6H9k4jI2WwptC9wD_HHzcy5SNjZ-4-QI8hn5JOUISER5FqFegKswoPX_Ww3FBuUHRlH2-X0X6nhbOsCS0Rgqb9xdwpZ3TFK6-HPYCFcKkMjXoG13nk4M/s1600/Cool+Yule+Christams+Card+Interior.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="451" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEdwvE8CMI0qX45-GhPfpaElV6H9k4jI2WwptC9wD_HHzcy5SNjZ-4-QI8hn5JOUISER5FqFegKswoPX_Ww3FBuUHRlH2-X0X6nhbOsCS0Rgqb9xdwpZ3TFK6-HPYCFcKkMjXoG13nk4M/s640/Cool+Yule+Christams+Card+Interior.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I am really addicted to digital crafting now. I will probably add some embellishments to the card, but as it is a digital file, I can print it over and over and add a variety of embellishments to them to make them all unique. The possibilities are literally endless. Can you tell I am excited!! The only down side is that I have to do my creating in 20 minutes blocks because of my back surgery. Dr's orders and all that..lol.<br />
<br />
Anyway, so I don't go over my 20 minutes, and since I want to post this in a few Facebook groups I shall make this short and sweet.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by and I would love to know what you think of my creation!<br />
<br />
Take care and I hope you visit again soon,<br />

<br />
Good Monday Morning everyone out there in crafty blog land. A fortnight has passed since the last challenge over at <a href="http://www.craftybootschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Crafty Boots Challenges</a> so it is time for another one! The theme this time was chosen by our lovely DT member Zoe, and she wants to see your sports themed projects. There is lots of inspiration over on the <a href="http://www.craftybootschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">main blog</a> from the other design team members, but I hope you also get some inspiration from mine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUrBTNFJhkdfpDbucwq55OSFhN-_yb9yY3HaTr7M_M7SMGz1FdyDSgh5NhJYycNGcg8vTx-FUwoIIc_QuDV1xoqMpPIWPyS5f-XxdyriwYuJLaZjWlsZ5fOTIsJaEUJkW4or6SuPDlYSU/s1600/Anything+You+Can+Do+-+Crafty+Boots+Sport+-+Watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUrBTNFJhkdfpDbucwq55OSFhN-_yb9yY3HaTr7M_M7SMGz1FdyDSgh5NhJYycNGcg8vTx-FUwoIIc_QuDV1xoqMpPIWPyS5f-XxdyriwYuJLaZjWlsZ5fOTIsJaEUJkW4or6SuPDlYSU/s640/Anything+You+Can+Do+-+Crafty+Boots+Sport+-+Watermarked.jpg" width="452" /></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I decided to use this great digi from Simply B Stamps. I am addicted to her images and thought this one would fit in perfectly! She is colored with Flex Markers. All the papers used on the project were from my 'cut offs' box so this card also makes #3 in my personal 'Use it Up' Challenge!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The sentiment and the green dots came from the <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/" target="_blank">Crafter's Companion</a> 'Life's Little Treasures' embellishment set. I love the sentiment, and thought it went well with the sport theme.... you know how boys always think they are better at sports..lol!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyway, please visit the main challenge blog to link up your own creations and to check out the work from the rest of the design team. If you have time, also pop over to the <a href="http://www.craftyboots.com/" target="_blank">Crafty Boots Shop</a> to check out all the great stuff they have, including digital stamps and papers! <a href="http://www.craftyboots.com/ourshop/cat_588926-Digital-Stamps.html" target="_blank">The shop sells my own Daffy's Digis - only at Crafty Boots, as well as digis by our talented Zoe - aka- Crafty Gashead Digital Designs</a>. In fact, her new Sporty Boots Digi is making her debut in this challenge on the main blog.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thank you so much for looking, and if the mood strikes you I would love to know what you think of my creation. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Two weeks out and I am feeling much better, but I still have a long way to go.<br />
<br />
I wanted to make a Thank You Card for the lovely Nurses at Sarum Road BMI Hospital in Winchester who took phenomenal care of me before and after my surgery. I thought I would go ahead and do it now after seeing the current sketch challenge at <a href="http://www.emmascardsuk.com/p/sketch-challenge.html?spref=fb" target="_blank">Emma's Cards UK</a>. Also, I have just started doing a bit more than drawing digi stamps with Serif Craft Artist Pro, so I thought this card would be a good chance to have a quick play with some of the digi kits.<br />
<br />
Anyway, without further ado, here is the card.....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjANVUlcux8entjbtbf6Enop2oXY2nmJibdwzZ36BUG_7Dtp7UOIErVUu4IkgwK-K2FDa-6E1KGAdCdcKeFAy1TeM7mdC7hQaRiHtUC26M0CYi5ykHSUYWZdsHHxF9fObU1cP4x4Xdd3Kc/s1600/Thanks+a+Whole+Bunch+-+Some+Odd+Girl.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="458" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjANVUlcux8entjbtbf6Enop2oXY2nmJibdwzZ36BUG_7Dtp7UOIErVUu4IkgwK-K2FDa-6E1KGAdCdcKeFAy1TeM7mdC7hQaRiHtUC26M0CYi5ykHSUYWZdsHHxF9fObU1cP4x4Xdd3Kc/s640/Thanks+a+Whole+Bunch+-+Some+Odd+Girl.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
I used CAP for pretty much the entire card other than the paper flower and the 'dew drop' embellishments. The image is from Some Odd Girl, and she is colored with Flex Markers. I was brave and printed her uncolored directly on the designed card, so good thing I didn't mess up.<br />
<br />
Although I am just finding my way around the software, I certainly can see the potential for hours and hours of crafty fun with Craft Artist Professional. I will just have to be patient and try not to forget about the Dr's orders to only sit for a max of 20 minutes while I am playing!<br />
<br />
As you might have guessed, I would like to enter this card in the current <a href="http://www.emmascardsuk.com/p/sketch-challenge.html?spref=fb" target="_blank">Sketch Challenge at Emmas Cards UK</a>.<br />
<br />
I hope the nurses like it. I will be giving it to them when I next see the doctor. Hopefully I will be up to doing a little baking by that time so the card can be accompanied by some cupcakes. I really am so thankful and impressed with their hard work and dedication. I definitely would not want to trade with them.<br />
<br />
Ok, well my 20 minutes is just about up, so I shall post this and link up to the challenge at Emmas cards. I hope you like the card, and would love your comments.<br />
<br />
Thanks for looking, and I would love it if you could come back soon.<br />
<br />
Take care today and always,<br />
Denise xx<br />

I am writing this post way ahead of time. I am having back surgery in two weeks, and am not sure what kind of shape I will be in by the time this post publishes, but I wanted to participate in the challenge because I absolutely LOVE Simply B Stamps and I LOVE purple.<br />
<br />
Here is the Inspirational Photo...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
and here is my card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf_QAEh3enXQKoQCNFAsFzkpQih2slmTHvtqY1p2_Uw2UnPrjvpVeghLGVGqvUyFmkdmowOHrQGrZFYQ89MWIdULV1KEOZuUq-fB8On1yDsBf-QoF74n5hULcxkdrWedzYCWZggkdaPuU/s1600/JIC+Simply+Betty+-+Don%27t+Talk.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="454" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf_QAEh3enXQKoQCNFAsFzkpQih2slmTHvtqY1p2_Uw2UnPrjvpVeghLGVGqvUyFmkdmowOHrQGrZFYQ89MWIdULV1KEOZuUq-fB8On1yDsBf-QoF74n5hULcxkdrWedzYCWZggkdaPuU/s640/JIC+Simply+Betty+-+Don%27t+Talk.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Obviously the stamp is a Simply B digi called Morning Betty... you can get her <a href="http://simplybstamps.net/item_1101/Morning-Betty-Digi.htm" target="_blank">here</a>, but she is a limited release so be quick if you like her (hopefully she is still available when this publishes..sorry if she isn't!)<br />
<br />
I colored her with Flex Markers. The image layer and backing layer is cut out with a Grand Nesties die. I used a patterened papper that I have had in my stash for ages. I made the sentiment using doCrafts Digital Designer, Boofle collection. A bit of blue ribbon seemed to be a nice touch, so I decided on the two strips.<br />
<br />
I hope you like the card. I loved coloring the image...I think the Betty's especially are Fab (although all of the images from Simply Betty are great).<br />
<br />
Please pop over to the main <a href="http://www.justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Just Inspirational Challenges</a> blog to see what the rest of the design team have come up with and to link up your creations.<br />
<br />
Thank you as always for taking the time to visit my blog. Stay as long as you like, and feel free to come back soon!<br />
<br />
Take care and happy crafting!<br />

The digital image is from the <a href="http://www.cupcakecrafting.co.uk/shop/product.php?id_product=502" target="_blank">Tumble Ted and Tizzy CD, available at Cupcake Crafting</a>. I colored her using Flex Markers and used a white detail pen to accent her pearls. I used a lovely floral pattern paper, matted with dark purple paper and put them on an 'On the Edge' Card blank from <a href="http://www.craftyboots.com/" target="_blank">Crafty Boots</a>.. I can't remember where I got the paper floral from, so apologies for the missing 'shout out'. I wrapped some organza around the square card layers, leaving it loose so I could bunch it up and tie it with a purple organza bow.<br />
<br />
I used the same floral patterned paper on the card insert with a square of white paper in the middle, matted with purple, for the sender to write on. <br />
<br />
I thought it needed a little something more, so I added some white and pale blue card candi, which I also got from the <a href="http://www.craftyboots.com/" target="_blank">Crafty Boots Shop</a>.<br />
<br />
I seem to be going through a purple phase, which is odd because my favorite color is green! Anyway. I hope you like the card and I hope you will pop over to the <a href="http://www.craftybootschalleges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Crafty Boots Challenge</a>s blog to check out the creations from the rest of the design team and link up your entries! I can't wait to see what you all come up with!<br />
<br />
<br />
I would also like to enter this card into the challenge at: <a href="http://foreverfriendschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/no38-fortnightly-challenge.html">Forever Friends Fortnightly Challenge - Anything Goes</a> &

Well, maybe two doesn't make a roll, but it is a good start. Here is card #2 for my personal 'Use it Up' challenge.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTnREa_BHlGxTwSvBParM8ijyMXPcI3afPGtgbuvdfNr_7CfP2SQpeklQt6FXYv1fdVYj2kss4i3JM7HnRY1cE07D6bKenIc2Jmzy5EAvKVWXfJ42a9TPubdCzVZAT9uhCIfVHXBX_J2A/s1600/Elephant+Love.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTnREa_BHlGxTwSvBParM8ijyMXPcI3afPGtgbuvdfNr_7CfP2SQpeklQt6FXYv1fdVYj2kss4i3JM7HnRY1cE07D6bKenIc2Jmzy5EAvKVWXfJ42a9TPubdCzVZAT9uhCIfVHXBX_J2A/s640/Elephant+Love.jpg" width="328" /></a></div>
<br />
The image is from Cuddly Buddly and was in the stack of digi's that were printed ages ago. My friend Ines did the coloring again. She visits often, and loves to color, so I have loads of her colored images that still need to be carded up - so expect to see her name in these posts often! She loves working with pro markers, and loves to color, but she doesn't feel very confident with the actual card making. Saying that, she has made us some beautiful cards, so hopefully she will take the plunge and start up her own card blog at some point. We shall see!<br />
<br />
Anyway, all the papers are from my scrap box. The two cards I have made have not even made a dent in it, but it is still progress!<br />
<br />
I hope you like the card. I may do another this afternoon if I am feeling up to it, but for now have to rest my back. Maybe after tomorrow's surgery I will be able to build up more crafting stamina! Fingers crossed.<br />
<br />
Thank you again for visiting, and I do love reading your comments. I will of course share any regarding Ines's coloring with her, so feel free to send her a little love as well.<br />
<br />
Take care and I hope you can come back soon.<br />

I am off to a good start (although I guess it is cheating a little to have started before the surgery). This is the first card I have made using papers / materials from my scrap box.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlgEfr6R2CnKQGsRbAlom9omvLFo9ra7uxjGlHGlwndRZSKfrDlIb6OgIDbDq5NhnAHp0J82biamkNHyh4P7i-k8RP5-k3A117y4e-xVta2dUrLEFEu3x5J7Cz6J2XX6pkFwg6KGPySU/s1600/Distressed+Butterfly.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="386" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlgEfr6R2CnKQGsRbAlom9omvLFo9ra7uxjGlHGlwndRZSKfrDlIb6OgIDbDq5NhnAHp0J82biamkNHyh4P7i-k8RP5-k3A117y4e-xVta2dUrLEFEu3x5J7Cz6J2XX6pkFwg6KGPySU/s400/Distressed+Butterfly.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The butterfly is from one of the Polka Doodles CD Roms, and technically that is also something to 'use up' as it is from a stack of digis I printed off and just hadn't got to coloring yet. In fact, I still didn't get to coloring it. My friend Ines did the coloring of this butterfly - using pro markers of course!<br />
<br />
I took bits from my scraps box and roughed them up with a bit of Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. The embossed swirl paper was also from my scraps box. I used that for the top 'banner' and for the small punched butterflies. It was from a piece of card that I was goofing around with when I first started paper crafting and was showing a friend of mine my new crafting goodies (like my Cuttlebug, Woodware paper trimmer and gold sparkle spray). Goes to show I really am a pack rat!<br />
<br />
This card is a bit differently styled compared to my 'normal' stuff, but as I am feeling torn between distressed and hopeful with my upcoming surgery, I guess this card is the perfect representation of that! In any event...I hope you like it.<br />
<br />
Thanks for visiting...and I hope you can come back soon.<br />

I doubt I am alone in this, so I thought I would share it. Recently I had to move all of my stash so I could get broadband installed so I wanted to organize it properly before putting it all back. One of the boxes is my 'cut offs' or 'scraps' box and looking at it, there is really no good way to organize it - so my choices are to bin it (yeah right) or use it up. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhf8yqTFhTbN1Wc1aMOocLYS9KqmrWNYAi55mthbjxvVy9VJdwt2Y2yLrIDmtcGzfkFXPWYEJNT3Kb1cX3ye8Au1EIccUt0Ul-aqR0T9TQL037Al5Wg6r09rShsN9eAQ8z4e2H5LHOLdNc/s1600/P1020950.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhf8yqTFhTbN1Wc1aMOocLYS9KqmrWNYAi55mthbjxvVy9VJdwt2Y2yLrIDmtcGzfkFXPWYEJNT3Kb1cX3ye8Au1EIccUt0Ul-aqR0T9TQL037Al5Wg6r09rShsN9eAQ8z4e2H5LHOLdNc/s320/P1020950.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgT7-LTq0iTF6jMC_2rVYkoek_WGsXX-3ER3BJrCkNuCPHX3FVYYGQb2wM9CfOxQ8kvdXynyxVrpI2G8DElxPeMPN4MnjJM4osl7u1Lp6BfIIDqJic4roSco0C5NTXydawRnEv8hYV2ok/s1600/P1020951.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgT7-LTq0iTF6jMC_2rVYkoek_WGsXX-3ER3BJrCkNuCPHX3FVYYGQb2wM9CfOxQ8kvdXynyxVrpI2G8DElxPeMPN4MnjJM4osl7u1Lp6BfIIDqJic4roSco0C5NTXydawRnEv8hYV2ok/s320/P1020951.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I was surprised just how much is in the box - it definitely adds up quickly.<br />
<br />
Anyway, as many of you know, I am having back surgery on Wednesday (6th of June) - getting my L5S1 vertebrae fused. I will be convalescing for at least 6 weeks, so I decided to set myself a challenge so I don't go stir crazy or revert to a depressed lump on the couch with no purpose.<br />
<br />
So....within the next 6-8 weeks, I am going to try to utilise everything in this box on projects. I am not sure if I can do it, but I am sure gonna try. I will keep you all posted with my progress and of course share my projects. <br />
<br />
Wish me luck!!<br />

<span style="font-size: large;">aka NetworkedBlogs Facebook Saga.</span></div>
<br />
<br />
Hello lovlies! After 4 days of fighting with NetworkedBlogs, Blogger and Feedburner, I think I have finally resolved the issues I have been having since UK blog addresses changed to blogger.co.uk (from blogger.com)<br />
<br />
If you have no idea what I am on about, don't worry. What it does mean is that people following my blog via NetworkedBlogs are no longer following. I thought I would do a test post not only to make sure everything is working properly, but also so I could try to get some of my facebook followers back (and maybe get some new ones as well!)<br />
<br />
To entice you to follow, I am including photos of my crafty creations as well as some pics of my menagerie of furry children. Enjoy! <br />

<br />
And now to introduce them all...<br />
<br />
Lily and Muschy are the two 'white' kitties - Muschy is the bigger one, and his proper name is Paddington. He is such a floppy lovey doll of a boy that Muschy suits him better!. Lily is the one with the striped legs. She thinks she is one of the dogs much of the time and likes to chat and nag for lovin' - especially when we are trying to do something else. She is very demanding and nearly always gets her way..lol.<br />
<br />
Peppy (proper name Pepper -also answers to Sham Sham, Fatty Fat Fat & Schmearshin) is the brown/black/ginger/white kitty. Peppy is probably the lowest maintenance of them all, though she has a very cheeky side and has been known to lull you into petting her by rolling and purring and then snatching your hand and having a soft nibble.<br />
<br />
The dogs are Willow and Gracie. Gracie is the white dog and is a Bichon Frise (not a poodle). She has a high maintenance 'coat' that is supposed to be combed or brushed every day, but she hates to be combed and / or brushed. This is why she often looks a bit disheveled! Gracie is very sweet natured, but she also has a cheeky side and can be relentless when she wants you to play with her! Willow is the salt and pepper dog and is a miniature schnauzer. She is very shy with most people, but once you get to know her she is so very sweet. She loves to give kisses and does an incredible impression of a wookie when she is playing.<br />
<br />

For my card, I used a digital paper, sentiment and image from Stitchy Bear. Here is what I came up with....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxs_mC00_vhfIjO98e4t-EJqsVi_z0KHB0i2Uv-Dk8Y-KOieNK9GRwvDgatuKoz2SsyIQueytF65P23mSc4sxGnBpNxJZMbDbpy-6YkcwplBstLNznGmIilMmnEB8aQ-RkBzaCua0NHfc/s1600/JIC+Stitchy+Bear+-+Think+Spring.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxs_mC00_vhfIjO98e4t-EJqsVi_z0KHB0i2Uv-Dk8Y-KOieNK9GRwvDgatuKoz2SsyIQueytF65P23mSc4sxGnBpNxJZMbDbpy-6YkcwplBstLNznGmIilMmnEB8aQ-RkBzaCua0NHfc/s640/JIC+Stitchy+Bear+-+Think+Spring.jpg" width="466" /></a></div>
The floral paper is a digital paper from Stitchy Bear. I imported the paper into My Craft Studio and added the yellow and pink 'layers' as well as the framed sentiment. The 'textured' yellow layer framing the pink is also a digi paper from Stitchy bear. The image is colored with Pro Markers. I am working on my technique with hair. I think I am getting there...hopefully..lol.<br />
<br />
The image layer and it's mat are cut out with Grand Nesties dies. I really wanted the card to move from a muted background to the bright flowers in the forefront. The flowers are from a set I got from Create and Craft. They are the type of embellishment that you want to use on everything, but you want to horde it at the same time. They are definitely too pretty to stay in a box though, so on the card they went.<br />
<br />
Do check out the digis at <a href="http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/" target="_blank">Stitchy Bear</a> - they really have a wide range of styles in their digis.<br />
<br />
Don't forget to pop over to <a href="http://www.justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Just Inspirational Challenges</a> to see what the rest of the design team have come up with and to link up your own creations.<br />
<br />
Okee dokee, I am off now to clear up my crafting supplies to make room for Virgin to install our fibre optic broadband on Friday... I can't wait to have a speedier (is that a word) internet connection, but it does mean they have to be able to run the cable so my entire downstairs will be in disarray and my crafting will be a bit on hold for a bit. Hopefully it will be worth it when it is all over!<br />
<br />
Enough babble from me. Take care and come visit again soon. I love reading your comments, so please feel free to let me know what you think of my card.<br />
