Hi Everyone,
I hope that you have all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying your boxing day.
Here is my Design Team project for the Crafty Boots new challenge - Celebrations.
I used this cute (and free) digi image from Cuddly Buddly and coloured it with Letraset promarkers. I used the scalloped square spellbinder die for the pink pearlised emobossed card layer behind the image, and various embellishments including gems courtesy of the Glitter Girls. The card itself is a Precious Gemstones Fancy Shaped Card Blank from Hunkydory, backed with a bit of holographic paper.
Well, this is going to be a short one, because I am writing it on the Friday before Christmas and I have to nip out to the shop before it becomes an abosulte zoo!
Take care and thanks for checking out my blog. All comments are not only welcome, but very much appreciated!
Happy Crafting
xx Denise

Let's talk about the elephant in the room.
This is another digistamp from Cuddly Buddly. I think this elephant is just precious, and it was a bargain as part of a set.
Although I have mainly been working on Christmas cards, I have tried to make an effort to put cards in for a other occasions as well. I don't know if I even need to say it, but the coloring was done with flex markers. I kept this card relatively sweet and simple just using a couple off layers, a bit of ribbon and a pre-printed sentiment.
Here is another one with a bit more bling....
I would like to enter this card into the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Stars in your eyes Challenge
This is a really nice image to work with. I actually have colored quite a few more that haven't made their way to completed cards yet..... so maybe I should get to work on that!
Thanks so much for checking out my blog and my creations. I hope you like them and always love to hear any thoughts (good or bad).
Take care and happy crafting!

Santa Claus is coming to town!
This is a lovely digistamp from Cuddly Buddly that I just couldn't resist.
As you might have guessed, I colored Santa using my flex markers and added a few winks of stella. Again, I went for a couple of different looks using different color tones on the Santas and on the cards themselves.
Here is look two....
Also colored with flex markers, but the snow on the chimney and the trim of the hat are heat embossed.
Thanks again for looking - and please do let me know what you think!
Happy Crafting

p.s. - Sorry for the untidy pic of these cards that was originally on this post. That will teach me to take photos and blog when I am awake at crazy early in the morning with insomnia!
